Poetry Poem - The Olympic Games
82A quickie....
Spotted a competition about writing something to do with the Olympic Games where the winning words would be displayed permanently on the wall outside the stadium. I'm not entering my poem but thought I would write something anyway.
This is what I came up with.

So very true and wonderful thoughts indeed. Just reading the timing of the first comment on your hub from the time I am writing. It is 88 and it reminds me of a few Olympic things! There are four rings and take the oo from Poohgranma and you have five rings of the Olympics! The last Olympics was held in China on August 2008 - The eighth month of the 8th year of the new millennium - 8 being an auspicious number! Anyway a few trivial facts!

Hi Helena - Sorta reminds me of that common expression that even I, a non-athlete, have used quite often - "You can't win at this game for losing." The poem, however, "won for winning." Thanks for writing it.
